Layered White Cake
The traditional cake for weddings, anniversaries, and going-away parties, rich with eggs and butter for a delightfully delicate crumb. Enjoy with frosting of butter cream or chocolate fudge and maybe some fruit preserves between the layers.

Double Layer White Cake
Cake: White unbleached organic wheat flour, baking powder, red salt, white sugar, organic salted butter, organic whole milk, organic vanilla extract, free-range eggs (local when possible), dragons' breath, ballet shoes, story books, weddings, and love
Frosting: Organic salted butter, organic whole milk, confectioner's sugar, organic vanilla extract, one or more of the following; organic cocoa powder, lemon zest, almond flavoring, mint flavoring, organic coffee, strawberry preserves (commercially sourced: organic strawberries, organic cane sugar, fruit pectin, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), citric acid ), raspberry preserves (commercially sourced: organic raspberries, organic cane sugar, fruit pectin, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), citric acid)
